My name is Dr. Kymi and I am a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with certifications in pelvic health and obstetrics. I am originally from Louisville, KY where I graduated with my bachelors in Exercise Science (Go Cards!), and in 2014 I graduated with my doctorate in physical therapy from Hampton University. I am married with two amazing little boys, and they are the reasons I started Roots & Rivers Pelvic PT. Roots & Rivers was initially designed to provide therapy services to prenatal and postpartum women. Over time, my passion has expanded to include all genders that suffer from pelvic floor dysfunctions. After having my first son in 2018, I gained a love for women’s health. Two years later during the thick of COVID-19 and while pregnant with my second son, I worked to become a certified breastfeeding specialist. My goal at the time was to fill the void at my hospital as a lactation consultant. During this pregnancy, I sustained an injury to my left hip. After having my son in January of 2021, an MRI revealed I had an acetabular labrum tear, and given the severity, I needed surgery. https://rrpelvicpt.com/contact daily 0.75 2026-07-18 https://rrpelvicpt.com/forms daily 0.75 2026-05-23 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/611724171c262d208dcf6af7/62273853-f205-4113-a352-537f7fb06589/Logos-02.png Forms -
